DPad Max pro

Presentation and intended use

DPad Max Pro is a 12.1” touchscreen speech communicator running on Windows 11, designed to provide a smooth and continuous user experience. Its compact design and high-performance components make it ideal for users with complex disabilities, suitable for both mobile use and fixed setups.

Accessibility options and Positioning Methods

It supports touchscreen, USB/Bluetooth sensors, and eye-tracking, adapting to the most appropriate access method. It comes with Dialogo AAC and Matrix AAC software to meet diverse communication needs:

from non-verbal children to adults with progressive neurological conditions, such as ALS, from early to advanced stages.

Each configuration is fully personalized to ensure continuity and effectiveness.

Its design is understood to provide users with different methods of positioning thanks to its comfortable and foldable handle.

This last one, with its anatomical design, it also allows the device to be carried easily and safely.

Shockproof shell

The DPad Max Pro is equipped with a Shock proof shell that ensures its integrity in the event of accidental drops.

Such events are particularly frequent at the occurrence of so-called “problem behaviours”, arising from the difficulty or inability to communicate.

The protective case, made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate material, is nontoxic, shockproof, elastic, flexible, durable and dielectric.

Finally, on the back side, there are four threaded holes positioned compatibly with the VESA cross, so that the DPad Max Pro can be attached to any type of stand: table, bed or wheelchair.

Interchangeable shields

The protective shell of the DPad Max Pro allows the insertion of interchangeable shields.

These shields, made of plastic material, allow the device to be used by patients with locomotor problems and/or dystonia.

The standard equipment consists of one grid, compatible with the most commonly used layout in the creation of structures.

In case the user uses a structure with a particular layout, it is possible, upon request, to purchase one or more customized grids that will be custom designed and printed.

Software

It has never been easier to communicate with Dialogo AAC

The potential of the dynamic communicator DPad Max Pro has been combined with Dialogo AAC software.

The Dialogo AAC software, integrated into the device, offers the possibility to communicate especially to those with complex communication needs as well as those with autism spectrum disorders.

It enables the creation of structures for the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in a simple and intuitive way, transforming classic paper notebooks into customizable and interactive works.

It is possible to create works for teaching, personal autonomy, tests with reports, social stories, keyboards and inclusive games..

Images

Within the communicator there is the PACS image library and an automated system for downloading Arasaac images (Government of Aragon - Spain) in a simplified manner, subject to acceptance of the licence for use.

In addition to these images, it is possible to use any of the supplied pictogram libraries, download images from the web without leaving the Dialogo AAC software, perform symbolic search, or take a picture with the front and back camera of the device.

DCloud Platflorm

Through the DCloud work-sharing platform, hundreds of structures, mainly created by professionals in the field (therapists and teachers), can be downloaded for free and unlimited.

These works, ready to use, can be customized for the patient.

Finally, it is possible to share their own structures with the "community"; our team will make sure that there are no references to the patient and/or copyrighted images within them.

In case the check is successful, the work will be added to the catalogue.

Sharing facilities

It is possible to transfer the structures from one device to another one easily and intuitively.

Those structures, realized with the personal PC licenced Dialogo AAC, can be imported and exported to the DPad Max Pro and vice versa.

Accessibility

Its multitouch screen makes the device sensitive to touch at several different points on the surface at the same time. In addition, the capacitive-type touch screen technology allows the DPad Max Pro to be used easily, intuitively and accurately.

The DPad Max Pro is also designed to be operated via sensor interface, Bluetooth and/or USB.
