Speech synthesis for communication

DialoQ Speech is a speech synthesis software developed by Code-Q Oy for Windows and Android, specifically designed for communication. The Windows version is SAPI-compatible, ensuring it works seamlessly with popular communication aid programs like DialoQ Talk, Communicator 5, Speaking Dynamically Pro, and The Grid. The Android version uses Android’s built-in text-to-speech interface, making it compatible with any program that supports Android’s text-to-speech functionality.

Speech Synthesis with a Child’s Voice

DialoQ Speech Otto is the first Finnish speech synthesis featuring a child’s voice. Otto’s voice is modeled after a 9-year-old boy, but with DialoQ Speech’s versatile voice control settings, it can be adjusted to suit older boys and younger girls. The Olivia voice is designed for slightly older Finnish-speaking girls who feel that an adult voice doesn’t quite fit them yet.

 DialoQ Speech Android currently supports the following languages: Finnish, English (UK), Croatian, and German. In addition to the Finnish child’s voice (Otto, a 9-year-old boy), the following children’s voices are available: Croatian (Franka, a 6-year-old girl’s voice) and German (Nora, a 13-year-old girl’s voice).

Adult Voices for Communication

DialoQ Speech adult voices are designed for communication and can be used in AAC programs for both text and symbol communication. Our AI-powered speech synthesis delivers natural speech without needing an internet connection, working seamlessly on compatible hardware. The new adult voices can even be used for screen readers, while providing enough variety to suit different communication needs.
