DIALOG 3.0 EYETRACKING
The new Dialog 3.0 EYETRACKING communicator with
an advanced direct binocular pointing system, allows alphabetical communication
and PC management in a Windows environment using only the movement of the
pupil.
Computing power
The Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking Communicator is equipped with a
powerful third-generation I7 computer, able to process all the frames
input from the Eyetracking without any limitation, guaranteeing the eyetracker
to work with 60 fps without discarding any.
How to access
Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking communicators have all the
accessories as standard. Integrated home automation module, interchangeable
shields for accessibility with touch, integrated 5-port switch for sensor
connection, communication software.
Eye tracking
The Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking System uses the brand new proprietary eye pointing system of Dialog Ausili S.r.l. associated with hardware improvements and standardized with CEI EN 60601-1-1 and CEI EN 60601-1-2 standards.
INTENDED USE
It is indicated for users who have moderate movement disorders,
for patients who have more compromised neuromotor skills, such
as to allow only some weak residual movement
Presentation and intended use
Dialog 3.0 is a communicator created specifically to
meet all the needs of patients suffering from diseases, for example such as ALS.
The construction criteria have been evaluated according to the intended use,
therefore the directives and regulations to which a Medical Aid should comply.
It is indicated for users who have moderate movement disorders, for patients who have more compromised neuromotor skills, such as to allow only some weak residual movements, patients suffering from ALS, patients suffering from tetraparesis with serious difficulties in the upper limbs, patients who have suffered serious trauma. In cases of ALS there is a continuous gradual worsening of the vertical eye movement, Dialog 3.0 EYETRACKING has been designed to compensate for this problem. Using a resolution of 1366*768 pixels allows the user to reach the entire visual area effortlessly. This system is also suitable for people who have problems with language and writing. The advantage given by the compensation of the movements of the head guarantees the system high margins of stability and makes the aid usable even by people suffering from severe dystonia. Being a portable device it can be easily transported anywhere and with the addition of a stand it can be connected to the wheelchair thus favoring communication in any place.
Communication and text-to-speech
The Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking communicator allows you to communicate using male or female speech synthesis of high phonetic quality. It is possible to configure the synthesis at will through various parameterizations (speed, clarity, etc ....) reproducing letters and phrases typed through the eye pointing system.
Eyetracker Deye
The Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking system is also composed of the Deye eyetracker, a binocular eyetracking, that is, an ocular pointing system that tracks the movement of both eyes. Thanks to Deye, people with extremely reduced residual motor skills will be able to translate eye movement into a normal mouse movement, allowing them to use an electronic computer in all its functions.
Accessibility
Accessibility to the communicator is determined based on the physical properties of the customer. If the user has motor movement of the upper limbs he can use the communicator via the touch-screen. If there are residual motor movements in the upper limbs, the communicator can be used via switch sensors. Instead, if there is a good control of the movements of the head by the user, it is possible to use the communicator through a software to track the movement of the head, through the use of the integrated Webcam. Finally, if the customer does not have residual motor movements such as to allow him access to the communicator through the systems listed above, he can use the Deye eyetracker supplied.
Ergonomics and size
The materials used, in addition to ensuring electrical safety, minimizing residual risk and promoting adequate impact resistance, make the communicator light and functional. Thanks to the handle, which characterizes its shape, the communicator is easy to carry. The Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking has been created with the aim of being able to be easily placed, through special stands. It has no parts with edges and has no screws for visible disassembly. (Fundamental characteristics for the CEI EN 60601-1-11 standard).
Transportability
Dialog 3.0 Eyetracking is a transportable system thanks to its low weight (2.3kg complete with eyetracking) and the various possibilities of hooking in statics. Dialog is a versatile system thanks to its internal battery.
